Microneedling.

Listen up if you’ve got dull skin, acne scarring, fine lines/wrinkles, rosacea & pigmentation issues…👇🏼

How does it work?

It stimulates collagen production and the formation of new blood

vessels through controlled injury to the skin. It works on the

deeper layers (dermis) of your skin where all the magic happens!

What is it for?

Almost everything! ....including acne scars, normal scars,

hyperpigmentation (when combined with a serum - add on "booster:

no more pigmentation" ),

fine lines/wrinkles, dull skin, large pores, mild acne, mild rosacea,

stretch marks.

What's the difference between the microneedling device at the clinic and the ones you can buy online for at home use?

It's like comparing a Kim Kardashian to Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie,

you can't. The clinic device is electric and creates 98,000

microchannels to the skin per minute. It's less traumatic, it doesn't

drag the skin like mechanical dermarollers. It also works at a

depth of 0.25 - 2.5mm.

Does it hurt?

No - but it is occasionally uncomfortable on the sensitive areas of

your face i.e forehead, around the mouth, temples. The numbing

cream really helps to take the edge off things!

How quickly can you expect to see results?

Variable. Some people see a result a week after treatment, some

much later. Either way, you'll definitely see an improvement after

3-6 months of regular treatment.

How often do you need to get it done?

I'd recommend having a session every 4 - 6 weeks.

Depending on the severity of the skin concern, you'll need 3-5

sessions.
